Booking Policy:

Your order is officially confirmed once payment is received within the stated timeframe.

• Orders under $1,000 require full payment to confirm

• Orders over $1,000 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the date, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the event

We recommend confirming your order 2–4 weeks in advance to allow adequate time for ingredient sourcing and scheduling. Custom flavors or designs may require additional lead time.

Quotes are valid for:

• 48 hours for standard cake orders

• 7 days for wedding & custom cake proposals

If payment is not received within the quote window, the order is considered unconfirmed and availability will be released.

Once confirmed, each cake is baked and decorated to order. Production typically requires 5–7 hours, with cake layers prepared the night before pickup and decorated the following day to ensure optimal freshness.

For orders over $1,000, no changes may be made once the order is confirmed or within 30 days of the event date, due to the planning and production involved in cakes beyond Sweethearts’ standard offerings.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations within 24 hours of confirmation are eligible for a 100% refund

• Cancellations after 24 hours are eligible for a 50% refund

• Orders may not be canceled within 72 hours of the confirmed pickup date

**All cancellation requests must be submitted via email.

Reschedules: 

• More than 2 months’ notice: no rescheduling fee

• Less than 1 month’s notice: 20% rescheduling fee

• Less than 2 weeks’ notice: 30% rescheduling fee

**Rescheduled dates are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Orders cannot be rescheduled with less than 1 week’s notice, as ingredients and production time have already been allocated.
